This Privacy Notice outlines our practices regarding Personal Information that we collect both online and offline, including through the services we provide, our main website (www.tookelaw.com), and other websites, mobile applications, and digital communications (like email) that display or link to this Privacy Notice (collectively, "Services").
By using the Services or submitting your Personal Information to us, you acknowledge and agree to the collection and use of your Personal Information as described in this Privacy Notice. If you do not agree with the terms of this Privacy Notice, please refrain from using the Services.
As a law firm, we process information relating to individuals during our legal representation of clients. Please note that this Privacy Notice does not apply to information that you provide to Tooke Law within the context of an attorney-client relationship or information that is protected by confidentiality, the attorney-client privilege, the attorney work product doctrine, or any other applicable legal protection. While we routinely process personal information during our legal representation of clients, such processing is performed on behalf of and at the direction of our clients, subject to our client agreements and professional responsibilities. The information we collect and process in this context is governed by our client agreements and professional obligations and is not covered by this Privacy Notice.

1. Personal Information We Collect
The types of Personal Information we gather about you vary depending on the nature of your interaction with us. The following section outlines the categories of Personal Information that we may have collected over the past 12 months and the sources from which this information was obtained.

a) Information You Voluntarily Provide to Tooke Law. We collect Personal Information that you choose to share with us when engaging with our services. This may occur in various situations, such as when you contact us (including instances where you reach out on behalf of your employer to secure our legal services), request client alerts, timely updates, event invitations, newsletters, or other informational materials, sign up for a webinar or event, complete a form, participate in a survey, submit a message through our sites, request to be contacted by us, or otherwise interact with us.
The categories of Personal Information that we may collect directly from you include:

Our digital marketing communications may include unsubscribe or opt-out options that allow you to adjust your communications preferences. Even if you opt-out of marketing communications, we may still reach out to you with non-promotional messages, such as those related to ongoing business relations or administrative matters.
c) Adjusting Cookie and Other Collection Technologies Preferences. When you first visit our website, you will see a banner that offers you a choice about whether to accept or reject cookies or Collection Technologies of different types, except for those cookies that are essential for a particular service. You can also manage how web browser cookies are handled by your device through your browser settings. Some devices allow you to control this through your device settings. Choosing not to receive cookies at any time may result in websites not functioning properly and certain services being unavailable. Each browser and device is different, so check the settings menu of the browser or device to learn how to change your settings and cookie preferences.
Note that cookie-based opt-outs are not effective on mobile applications. However, you may opt-out of personalized advertisements on some mobile applications by following the instructions for Android, iOS, and others.
The online advertising industry also provides websites where you can opt out of receiving targeted ads from data partners and other advertising partners that participate in self-regulatory programs. To the extent our use of Collection Technologies is deemed to be a "sale"/ "share" under California law, you can opt-out of these tracking technologies by submitting a request via Your Privacy Choices, available at the bottom of our website. Please note, some features of our websites may not be available to you if you opt-out of the use of these tracking technologies.
d) Geolocation Data. If you have previously consented to sharing geolocation information with our Services, you can stop the collection of this information at any time by changing the preferences on your browser or mobile device settings.
e) Push Notifications/Alerts. If you have allowed one of our mobile applications to send you push notifications or alerts, you can deactivate these messages at any time in the notification settings on your mobile device.
6. Security Practices.

Despite our efforts to protect your Personal Information using commercially acceptable means, no method of transmitting data over the Internet is completely secure. 8. Children.

Our Services are not designed for or targeted towards individuals under the age of 16. We do not intentionally gather Personal Information directly from children under the age of 16 without obtaining parental consent. We are not responsible for the sites, content, or videos accessible via those links, and we have not assessed the privacy practices of those third parties. 11. Governing Law.

This Privacy Notice is governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the State of Louisiana. Any legal action arising out of or relating to this Privacy Notice shall be filed exclusively in state courts located in Lincoln Parish, Louisiana, or the United States District Court for the Western District of Louisiana. By using our Services, you thereby consent and submit to the personal jurisdiction of such courts for the purpose of litigating any such action.
